YOURHOOHA Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
The short version (because you deserve one)
We collect data to help you understand your body—and to help uncover patterns that have been overlooked for far too long.
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not attach your name to research data.
We do not treat your information like a commodity.
Your data belongs to you.
What we collect
When you use YOURHOOHA, we may collect:
- Account information (such as email)
- Cycle data (dates, frequency, irregularities)
- Symptom data (pain, fatigue, digestion, mood, etc.)
- Health-related inputs you choose to log
- Basic demographic information (such as age range and general location)
You choose what you track. You can stop at any time.
Why we collect it
We collect this data to:
- Help you see patterns in your own body
- Provide insights based on your tracked information
- Improve the functionality and accuracy of the app
- Identify broader trends in women’s health that are currently underdocumented
Because right now, a lot of what matters isn’t being measured.
We’re here to change that.
How your data is used for research
Some data may be used to better understand patterns across users— but never in a way that identifies you personally.
That means:
- Your name is never attached to research data
- Your email is never included
- Your data is aggregated and anonymized
We look at patterns like:
- age ranges
- general geographic regions (not exact locations)
- symptom trends
- environmental or lifestyle factors
The goal is simple:
To understand what’s happening across women’s bodies—without tying it back to any one individual.
Your identity is not the data.
The patterns are.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data
- We do not share identifiable information with third parties for marketing
- We do not expose your identity in any research or reporting
Who we share data with
We may use trusted service providers (for things like hosting or analytics), but:
- They only access what is necessary
- They are required to protect your data
- They do not own or control your information
Your control
You are always in control of your data.
You can:
- Access your data
- Update or correct your data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
To do so, contact us at: youhoo@yourhooha.com
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data using secure systems and practices.
No system is perfect—but we take this seriously, because we know what you’re trusting us with.
International users
Your data may be processed in countries outside of your own, but we take steps to ensure it is protected in accordance with applicable laws.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top.
